To achieve an exploded axonometric of the building I used Revit to maintain the appropriate dimensions, materials, levels and alignment for windows and doors.

Next, I rendered and exported the model from Revit to SketchUp to achieve opacity on the windows and to maintain those assigned textures when exported as a collada (.dae) into CityEngine.
