Planning Study - Music Row

Music Row in Nashville is historically a corridor of music industry landmarks. There are iconic recording studios and a thriving commercial district with bars, restaurants and mixed use residential buildings. The adjacency of this area to downtown and the current zoning code encourages a significant increase of building height for this neighborhood so, we did a study to understand what the transition of those heights would look like and I provided the model to step through multiple renditions. I worked closely with the designers on the Planning team to ensure that the development was modeled to honor the exiting neighborhood character and respect historic landmarks including both National Register and National Register Eligible buildings.
